The process for termination is as follows:

        1.
First infraction: Verbal warning at the time of the infraction, followed up with a scheduled counseling session with the member.
        2.
Second infraction: Immediate dismissal from the premises along with a scheduled time to meet with the member and their parent(s) and the Senior Pastor, which may result in termination of their attendance rights for a period of no less than (90) days.
        3.
A letter shall be sent to the member’s parents and the member outlining the decision for termination for (90) days, and the right of the member to return to the Youth Ministry meetings after the (90) day period has concluded.

A report of this termination shall be written and submitted to the Youth Board at it’s next meeting.

If at any time the Youth Pastor determines the need to dismiss a member from the premises of the youth ministry meeting due to the severity of the member’s behavior, the Youth Pastor retains the right to immediately contact the parent of the member and advise them of the problem, along with an immediate (90) day termination of attendance rights. It is noted this should be a rare event.

This sample is just a small picture of the complete CPPM. This manual is great for any size Church from 50 to 5,000 members. The CPPM is designed so that the Church staff, Board or volunteers can easily customize it and make the manual specific to the local church.

Why Should a Church have a PPM?
Having a printed PPM that all staff and congregation members can refer to eliminates many church disputes and accusations of “favoritism” on the part of decisions made by the Pastor. This manual should be approved and adopted by the Church Board as the “official” PPM of the Church.

Why Is This Important Now?
The headlines are shouting about churches employing staff or using volunteers who have a criminal background and subsequently commit a crime involving church funds or members. The CPPM provides outstanding policies and forms to prevent the church from making these kinds of mistakes, plus much more.

What Do You Get?
You receive the entire CPPM on CD in the Microsoft Word program format. The staff or Board of the local Church can customize manual based on the ministries and needs of the local church. Permission to copy the manual for use by the local Church is also provided.

How Much Detail is Provided?
The CPPM has multiple sections dealing with the daily operation of the Church. Complete policies and procedures are provided for each section of the Main Outline. You’ll be amazed at the ideas contained in this manual! Specific policies include:

  • Background Checks
  • Leadership Commitment to Tithe
  • Announcements from the Platform
  • Unscheduled Special Music
  • Request for Help from Non-Member
  • Spiritual Authority during services
  • Product/merchandise sales in the foyer
  • Cell phones/pagers in the sanctuary
  • Food/drinks in the sanctuary
  • Scheduling use of the facilities
  • Fee schedule for use of facilities
  • Donation of Equipment
  • Ninety-day waiting period for all new leaders
  • Nursery” check-in, sick child, parent call, etc.
  • AND MUCH MORE

What Forms Does the Manual Have?
A host of forms are ready for immediate use, including: Leadership Commitment; Abuse/Neglect Report; Supplies Request; Medical Release; Property Transfer/Donation; Benevolence Assistance Request; Personnel Forms and MORE.

Who Should Buy This?
The General CPPM is designed for church congregations of any size. Pastors and boards will find the CPPM is a valuable tool for organizing and operating the church in a consistently fair and businesslike manner.

CAN I USE IT NOW?
While the CPPM will need to be read and customized to meet the local
Church’s specific needs, most of the manual is ready to print and use immediately.

The CPPM has several “Guidelines” sections designed for printing and distribution to church members and non-members alike.

For example, when a couple wants to rent the facilities for their wedding, this manual has “Guidelines for Use of Church Facilities” appropriate for distribution to that couple. This Guideline gives the specific church policies regarding rental fees, use of classrooms and kitchen, moving of any platform equipment, use of church equipment (including sound and lights), cleaning responsibilities, and more.

Here’s what people are saying about the CPPM:

“The CPPM is long overdue!”

“The Personnel Policies and Procedures and Personnel Forms alone are a great bargain!”

“WOW! Over 200 pages of great material!”

“The best $99 this Church ever invested!”

“The CPPM is a GREAT tool for training Church volunteers. “

“It’s so great to say, ‘It’s against Church policy’ instead of just plain ‘NO’. What a blessing to a Pastor.”

“It’s time for us to take care of the BUSINESS of the Church !”
